Mistakes, esp when a lot is going on, happens to us all. I have made financial mistakes, incurred debts I now wish I didn't, and am working double-time to pay them off rapidly and never repeat such decisions. This is not "evil" fruit, it is a lack of wisdom MOST HONEST PEOPLE will admit that they too have fallen prey to, including yourself. Browsville simply did it on a bigger scale, and so it looks worse, but it isn't. The woman who gave two mites gave more than all the rich, and the Lord's standards of judgment are not yours. Your every penny you will answer for, remember that before you throw your rocks buddy. You will give a full account one Day.

Calling Steve Hill a false teacher? Shame on you for such folly! It is YOU who not only doesn't know the Biblical gospel, but of what Steve Hill actually preached. The message is REPENT AND BELIEVE. That will always be the message. And then a Personal Acts 19 needs to happen, where you get every article of affection with sinful things from your past out of your life. That is gospel. That is Holy Ghost. Repent of your folly.

you asked for someone to refute that video or what steve Hill preaches and his altar calls... why should we refute it....show me how do you know she was demon possessed there, show me, give me a sermon of steve hills during this revival that you say was false, where he manipulates the gospel and preaches something else.... and then since we are based on scripture show me in scriptures that what he did was not biblical that is doenst stand? Please show us on this list???

You better becareful with what you call demonic and of God... If you will open your heart and your mind and quite thinking you have everything figured out, then you would realize that she wasn't really serving the Lord, Religious I believe is what we would call it, She gets saved, she follows God and hungers after Him, then she gets a touch from The Lord.. is this biblical ... I believe so... I won't even take time out to tell ya where, I believe you know, She recieves a fresh touch from God, and now she is being used by God. In that particular service, She starts sharing her testimony. God speaks through her...and many come to Jesus... I do admire you desiring to know what is of God and I do hunger for Him to. God moves and touches people His own way. IF it brings people to Him, I am all for it....

Let me break it down to you. When I said forgive me, it means, I'm sorry to inform you that you are an ignoramus. I was not apologizing for "name-calling", for on these subjects, you are exactly this. You have never been to the revival, apparently, and yet you pontificate like some kind of authority. 

Oh I see, when you make mistakes in judgment, its not "evil", but when others do it, it is??? You have hardly had the pressure on you that these men had, and have hardly had the demonic assault on you that they had. You see, they were doing something great for God. Therefore the Devil takes aim at those kinds of people. Those who don't do much, he doesn't bother with much.

I like how you avoided giving full financial disclosure of yourself, and avoid answering the questions I asked you. Perhaps you need to remove the forrest out of your own eye.

As for watching a clip on Youtube--please! I have the video, and it is awesome. People repented during that altar call Slumley! People got saved. That video has been ewatched by many people all over the world and brought many to repentance, and many Christians have wept while watching it.

You did not PROVE the trembling of that girl is demonic, you just SAY SO. Your say so is not proof. Prove it.

Prove, when someone trembles, its always demonic from Scrpture. Where does the Scripture emphatically say all trembling is demonic. NOWHERE. But it sure says alot about God's people trembling and shaking at His Presence!

One time, in a room full of people Charles Finney walked in, and said "All of you need to repent and get right with God", and walked out. They began to sob and repent. That was the totality of his "gospel presentation". And yet God moved! If God is moving, and if he uses a SIGN to make his point, like he did with that girl, who are you to object?

And since when did the devil get saved? It sure is amazing how all those "demonic" things at Brownsville led so many to repentance and the Lord! Satan must have got saved!

You can't prove those manifestations are "unholy" becasue you have NO PROOF FROM SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS THIS. Where does the Scripture say laughter is demonic? Falling on the floor is demonic? Swooning is demonic? Well??? I thought so.

This reason I do not like the accusations of the critics is because my whole life has been changed by the Brownsville Revival, as has been the case with hundreds of thousands of others. I find it highly offensive to have to read the continuing saga of false posts by Mr. Shumbley. He speaks with malice in his heart about the one true God that I met in Brownsville, of whom I and many many others from there continue to follow and give testimony to. I don't want to get into a further battle with him myself, but that is okay as S.S.S.is doing a good job.

Again Slumley, calling you an ignoramus is not name-calling. It is identifying ignorant people spouting off slander and malice as if they are "in the know". You fit the bill. 

 

For the record, I.H.is an overseas missionary and author, P.C. claims to be a pastor, and S.S.S. is a person who takes pride in leveling personal attacks at those with which he disagrees while enjoying the anonymity of the internet. Many of his most vicious tirades were removed by the moderators. It is interesting to note that he claims to have spent an “extended time” at the revival. I’d say the fruit of the revival is apparent in the tone of his remarks. Unlike the others, S.S.S. refuses to disclose his identity or even a legitimate email address. In short he is the classic “internet tough guy”.
